Trouble
The two most common causes of login failure are your browser not having cookies enabled, or your system clock being set incorrectly so the cookies expire as soon as they are set.
To check your cookie settings in Internet Explorer, click Tools -> Internet Options and switch to the Privacy tab. Check the settings there are not blocking the cookies from this site (first-party cookies). Check your system clock is accurate. It can usually be found in the bottom right of your screen, if you are using Windows. The time should roughly correspond to the time shown below, taken from the Cafe Porcupine webserver.
08:56:11am (GMT -0800), Wednesday 7th January 2009 (Correct at time of page loading.)
If your system time does not match this, double-click the clock in your system tray (bottom right) and adjust the figures accordingly, then try to log in again. Remember to correct the figures given above if you are in a different timezone.
