The RIAA, the Recording Industry Association of America, is trying to stifle filesharing and the use of music on computers. It shut down Napster and AudioGalaxy, and is trying to do the same to other networks such as Kazaa.

Bug Reporting
Cafe Porcupine is an ongoing project, and due to its size I can't guarantee that it is bug-free.
You can help by posting any bugs you find here, on a reply to this thread. In doing so I will be able to investigate and hopefully remove any bug you might find.

Thanks for your help

Biggs

Beta: it says "entertaining the bored for half a decade". I spent ages deciding on a font that was "cool" and I'm still not sure if that was right or not. I will look into it .
Terra: thanks

Heh, found another

When you look at the userlist, then select a user and try to connect to their homepage the URL gets prefixed by http://cafeporcupine.biggleszx.com/

(don't blame me, blame the neighbours alarm that is stopping me sleeping-gits)

Edit: But only if the users home page does not have the http before it (eg. mine works, but betamax's doesn't)

Hmm. I will add, at some point, a bit of code to add "http://" if it's not already included . Thanking you.

I dont really approve of the fact that you have designed this website in a high screen resolution Jimmeh its fine on my laptop, but when on the PC, I put screen res down, so you page looks shite Its a bit of a bug and maybe you could take it into account in future? W00t! [this is not meant to be an insult, it is genuinely meant to be a reply].

That means that the site is designed for 1024*768. If you think it looks shite, switch to 1024*768...

Yer, I did notice that, and on all of your other websites all well What im saying is a lot of people may use a lower screen res than that, and may also think it looks a bit shite for this reason They may also not know what resolution is. Just trying to give the view of potential viewers here!

Yeah I get you - I have tested the site in 800*600 and it doesn't look too bad - according to the pros I spoke to yesterday, 1024*768 is now the "standard" web resolution that most people use, so I'm sticking to that really

ok, if youve looked up teh inf0, then its all good Another idea may be to put 'back to top^' things at the bottom of long pages, for example the forums. Its sooooooo much effort to move the scrollbar up, know what I mean? lol

Table handler errors are occurring occasionally - nothing I can do about them, it's a local problem.
The user profile homepage issue has already been reported by Terra, I'm working on a solution.
